Our History

Established in 1966, St. Luke Preschool is located on 5.9 acres at Candlewood Path and Vanderbilt Parkway in Dix Hills. The Education Building, built in 1970, was doubled in size during our expansion in 2009. Part of the church ministry, children are admitted from any race, color, nationality and ethnic origin, and need not be church members.

The staff of St. Luke is dedicated to providing a loving, warm, caring, comfortable and educational setting for the children. The curriculum includes academics, music, religious instruction (chapel) and stimulation through books, toys, trips, class projects and crafts. Most importantly, everyone has fun!

Our Programs

The Early Childhood Center enrolls children ages 1-1/2 through Pre-K

2 day - 3 day- 5 day - 1/2 day & Full Day + before and after care available

• 1-1/2 - 2 yrs old - Toddler Learn & Play

• 3 yrs old - Preschool

• 4 yrs old - Pre-Kindergarten
  

** Infants (6mos) to 1-1/2 yrs old - Mommy & Me

Our Mommy and Me classes are designed so that you and your child will have fun together in an educational and stimulating environment. The program gives your child the opportunity to socialize with peers while allowing you the opportunity to share and grow with other parents and caregivers.

Classes will include songs, crafts, movement, story time and prayer time.
